So today was my first shift at Robson. It was so much fun!! I am looking after stock. Today the theme was replenish, replenish, replenish! I was able to bring so much product on the floor which helped make space in the backroom for the 80 boxes the store received today.
It was nice that everyone was happy to meet me. Every person I meet at Robson and Robson Thurlow knew who I was. I would just introduce myself as Janice and they would ask "Are you Janice Blair?" when I said yes I would get a big hug. Lol I did feel a little like a celebrity; it was funny.
When I was on the floor I was helping customers too. Every customer I spoke to today was so nice and friendly!! It is nice to say "hi how are you" to a customer and they actually respond. It seems that everyone in the city is in a great mood.
The weather today was awesome. It was overcast in the morning then the sun came out. I am not sure what the temp was but I was only wearing a sweatshirt today and tonight.
Later on Chris and I went to Robson Thurlow to help them out with stock. Their store is bigger then I thought. When I was at their store I hit the wall. I felt fine all morning then I was just so tired. I think it is a combo of jetlag and the fact its been two years or so since I have been standing/running around the store for 8 hours.
That's the update for today. Josh got in this afternoon and Steve and I helped him setup his bunk bed then hit up Walmart for a crockpot and a griddle...
Some ppl from the loft went out tonight but I am way to tired. In a day or two I should be good but I feel like I am still getting settled right now. So Josh, Steve, Trevor, Tammy, Kristine and I are sitting around watching a little Jay Leno. Good night all! Another update and more pictures tomorrow.
JAPADOG!!!!
